Black pepper beef a classic stir fry dish in chinese restaurant that probably everyone has had at least one, maybe twice and it’s delicious !
I often make it at home because my family really likes it, let’s get cooking !!
SIMPLE CHINESE BLACK PEPPER BEEF STIR FRY RECIPE
Ingredients:
- 350gr Beef
- 1/2tsp Black Pepper
- 1 1/2tsp Soy Sauce
- 1/2tsp Oyster Sauce
- 1 Egg
- 1 1/2 tbsp Corn Starch
- Cooking Oil
- 50gr Bell Pepper
- 20gr Celery
- 20gr Parsley
- 20gr Carrot
- 50gr Onion
- 15gr Minced Garlic
- 1tbsp Spring Onion
- 1tsp Fresh Lemon Juice
- Sugar
- Water
- 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
Instructions:
- Slice the beef and coat in egg, black pepper, 1/2tsp soy sauce, cooking oil and 1/2tsp corn starch
- Chop red pepper and onion
- Finely slice the spring onion
- Finely chop garlic, celery, carrot and parsley
- Hot wok, coat in cold oil and pour out
- Add beef mixture to wok, cook and set aside
- Oil wok and cook onion and red pepper, then set aside on top of beef
- Turn off/down heat
- Add to wok the minced garlic, celery, carrot and parsley. Then the 1tsp soy sauce, 1/2tsp oyster sauce, sugar and black pepper
- Add small amount water turn up heat and simmer
- Add beef, pepper and onion back to the wok
- Add black pepper and lemon juice
- Add a little corn flour that has been dissolved with water, mix well
- Add sesame oil, mix well
- Add spring onion, mix well
- Serve
